Who Are We?

Kalgidhar Gurmat Sangeet Vidalaya is a dedicated learning society committed to preserving and promoting the rich tradition of Gurmat Sangeet — the sacred music of Gurbani. Rooted in the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, our mission is to inspire devotion and spiritual growth through the practice of Kirtan as taught by the Sikh Gurus.

Established with a deep reverence for Sikh heritage, the Vidalaya offers systematic training in classical and traditional instruments such as Harmonium, Tabla, Jodi, Vilan, Sarangi, and many more. Our experienced teachers guide students of all ages to understand not only the technical skills of music but also the spiritual essence behind each Shabad. Through disciplined riyaaz (practice), Gurbani understanding, and Sangat-based learning, we strive to nurture a new generation of Kirtaniyas who carry forward the legacy of divine sound with love, humility, and Seva bhav (spirit of service).
